Snow Walker

Majestic calmness envelops the forest.

Snow muffles the sound of the rumbling train.

The wet heavy flakes coagulate on thin branches.

The forest is blanketed in white.

Water is finally here, although it is too late for some.

I walk slowly, my footing is unpredictable

The wet heavy snowflakes float down

The calmness in the air muffles the usual noises

I feel alone and peaceful, serene

Occasionally the built up snow releases from the tree branches and falls with a flurry

I see no animals, they have all taken cover.

Just me, walking through the woods with my camera.

Put Frost on It

We build fences in our world
To keep things in, to keep things out
We build fences in our hearts
To keep pain in, to keep hope out
Nature will destroy a fence over time
This beautiful frost is slowly destroying the ugly wire fence with rust.
Put a little frost on the fence around your heart
Slowly destroy the fence that holds back your heart
Let the pain out!
Let the hope in!
Free your heart!
